“In the Midnight Moon” is an expressive abstract seascape oil painting 50 x 80cm (20 x 31.5 inches) on a 4cm (1.5 inch) deep canvas. Painted while thinking about time spent in Cornwall in September when the harvest moon was full and shining brightly on the sea.. The title is from a John Martyn song
It's painted in shades of blue, black and white. The paint is layered and blended and heavily textured in parts with a slight glossy sheen. The sides of the artwork are painted white and it is signed on the back. It’s ready to hang and comes with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity.
