In the Wild Atlantic Rain
“In the Wild Atlantic Rain” is a panoramic abstract landscape oil painting 40 x 100cm (16 x 39.5 inches) on a 4cm (1.5 inch) deep canvas. Painted after a road trip in County Clare, Ireland after driving down the Wild Atlantic Way and spending time on The Burren. The title is from a song by The Waterboys
It's painted in black, blue, green and white oil paint with a splash of metallic light green. The paint is layered and blended and heavily textured in parts, and there are small blurry “raindrop’ shapes in the texture of paint, as if you’re looking at the view through the rain. The image continues around the sides of the artwork and it is signed on the back. It’s ready to hang and comes with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity.
When I despatch a painting I always send a personalised card and a complimentary set of 3 hand made greetings cards as a thank you.
(Please note the in situ images are not to scale but hopefully they give an good idea of how the painting will look in a modern interior.)
