Across the Evening Sky
“Across the Evening Sky” is an abstract landscape oil painting 50 x 75cm (20 x 29.5 inches) on a 4cm (1.5 inch) deep canvas. Painted after a road trip in County Clare, Ireland along the Wild Atlantic Way and spending time on the beach at Lahinch watching the last light fade after the sunset. The title is from the song “Who Knows Where the Time Goes” by Fairport Convention .
It's painted in black, blue, white and yellow oil paint. The paint is layered and blended and heavily textured in parts. The image continues around the sides of the artwork and it is signed on the back. It’s ready to hang and comes with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity.
When I despatch a painting I always send a personalised card and a complimentary set of 3 hand made greetings cards as a thank you.
(Please note the in situ images are not to scale but hopefully they give an good idea of how the painting will look in a modern interior.)
