A Taste of the Thames
“A Taste of the Thames” is an impressionistic landscape oil painting 40 x 65cm (16 x 25.5 inches) on a 4cm (1.5 inch) deep canvas. This is my first ever “Plein Air” painting, I actually painted it sitting on the steps going down to the Thames near where I live in Hammersmith. The title is from the song “Come Back to Camden” by Morrissey
It's painted in blue, green and white acrylic & oil paint. The paint is layered and blended and the image continues around the sides of the artwork. It is signed on the back, is ready to hang and comes with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity.
When I despatch a painting I always send a personalised card and a complimentary set of 3 hand made greetings cards as a thank you.
(Please note the in situ images are not to scale but hopefully they give an good idea of how the painting will look in a modern interior.)
