In the Cold Moonlight
"In the Cold Moonlight” is a large expressive abstract seascape oil painting 80 x 80cm (31.5 x 31.5 inches) on a 4cm (1.5 inch) deep canvas.
Painted while thinking about time spent in Cornwall in September when the harvest moon was full and shining brightly on the sea. The title is from the song “Angeline” by John Martyn
It's painted in black and white with a tiny bit of Prussian blue. The paint is layered and blended and heavily textured in parts with a slight glossy sheen.
The image continues around the sides of the artwork and it is signed on the back. It’s ready to hang and comes with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity.
