“Deserted Evening, Warm & Still” is an ethereal abstract seascape oil painting 60 x 60cm (24 x 24 inches) on a 4cm (1.5 inch) deep canvas. Inspired by the view of the sea in Hastings in the evening when the light was reflecting on the sea. It’s titled from the song “Two Weeks Last Summer” by Sandy Denny
It's painted in shades of green, yellow and white. The paint is layered and heavily textured in parts and has a glossy sheen. The painting continues around the sides of the artwork and it is signed on the back. It’s ready to hang and comes with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity.
